Frédéric Vion opened CrestMount’s London Office in 2025. Mr. Vion has over 30 years of asset finance and equipment leasing experience, having held Director positions in the Asset Finance & Leasing divisions of Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort (now Commerzbank) in London. He was a Board Member and Investment Committee Member of US equipment leasing funds managed by SQN Capital Management, a multinational alternative investment manager in New York. He is the founder of BlackTails Capital, a UK advisory firm specializing in asset-backed finance and leasing solutions.
Frédéric holds a Baccalaureate in Math & Physics and an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
What is your passion?
My passion is advising companies on their strategic and financing decisions. I seek to understand the dynamics of each business, its objectives and constraints, and then develop bespoke solutions that address its specific needs.
What is important to you at CrestMount?
I want to keep proving my value to clients and colleagues by being there when it matters, solving problems and delivering results, while having fun with them along the way.
What’s most important to you in your career and at CrestMount?
My ambition is to contribute to CrestMount’s continued growth, both geographically and by expanding its client relationships, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and service for CrestMount and its clients.
What do you do outside of CrestMount?
Outside of CrestMount, I play competitive rugby in a regional league in Kent, where I live. I am also passionate about history and wine.
